The bag fits a laptop up to 14 inches, with sponge padding for a dedicated laptop compartment The bag has an additional internal pocket that closes with a zipper, and a rear pocket that also closes with a zipper; great for everything we want/need to keep close to us.

On both sides of the bag, there is space for a standard water bottle.

Machine washable at 30 degrees. Note: Once the wash cycle ends, remove the bag to prevent zipper corrosion. Moreover, our faux leather bags can be effortlessly wiped clean with a cloth, though they are also suitable for washing.

Your order will be shipped via Israel Post's "Eco Post" service and is expected to arrive within 5-7 business days for most global destinations. However, delivery times may vary due to customs processing in your country. Once your order is dispatched, we will send you an email with your tracking number. Please note that returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the package, and will be returned only unused and in original package. shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

What is Chilla?

Chilla is a name that blends my own as the designer—Gil—with my nickname, Gila, and the word "chill." In Hebrew, it even sounds like "Chill La," which means "chill for her" or "relaxation for her." Plus, my Labrador’s name is Chubby, and when combined with my name, it naturally formed "Chilla," bringing together all the best parts of my world!

The two swallows in the logo come from a tattoo I got around the time I started the brand. They represent freedom, liberty and the connection between style and veganism that Chilla stands for.

who made my bag?

100% HANDMADE AND LOCAL

Our bags are designed by Gil Lemel, who personally handles every step of the process—from designing the bags to carefully selecting fabrics and hardware from local vendors in the vibrant streets of South Tel Aviv. Once the materials are chosen, they are sent to one of our workshops in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, where each bag is meticulously handmade in small batches. Every piece is crafted with care, supporting local artisans and ensuring top quality.

inspiration for the design

I designed the Unicorn Backpack after listening to our loyal customers, especially students, who needed additional features. With their feedback, I added convenient side water pockets and extra storage for easy access during long school days.

I named it “Unicorn” after the empowering and amazing Israeli Eurovision song from the same year, capturing the unique and magical spirit it represents. Like a unicorn, this backpack is unique, colorful, and brings a sense of magic and energy.
